A forgotten city, we often confuse it with Budapest. A grey town. Far from any civilization. Cold inhabitants. Stray dogs risking to bite you into every corner of street. An unwelcoming city. Here is the sad image which most part of people in west Europe has of Romania or Bucharest.

And it’s definitely not a grey city but very atypical buildings, with a lot of parks and trees.  The architectural duality is very present in every street, as a constant reminder of your past. But maybe for you this past is troublesome…

You live in a country so rich of historical stories, different kind of culture and so many traditions. You should be proud of it. Often when I speak with Rumanians about their city or their country, the speech seem a little bit strange for me. Why you can’t understand that your city is really nice, beautiful and welcoming? For me is the nicest capital where I ever live. But maybe after only one month I do not understand and see everything, for sure. I am curious and want to see your town and country with your eyes.
